Food Security Matters in Adams County Rising costs are putting pressure on household food budgets. The 2026 Washington Food Security Survey found: – 69% of food-insecure respondents reduced the quantity or quality of their food because of rising prices. – Food, housing, and utilities were among the expenses households struggled to afford. – Food banks, SNAP, and school meals were the most commonly used food-assistance programs. These findings reflect survey participants across Washington not an Adams County-specific food-insecurity rate.
